• 2 pounds of crab legs
  • 1 pound of large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 pound of mussels (cleaned and debearded)
  • 1 pound of clams (cleaned)
  • 1 pound of corn on the cob (cut into thirds)
  • 1 pound of baby potatoes
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning (optional for extra spice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add the baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until they are just tender.
  2. Add the corn on the cob to the pot and continue to cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Add the crab legs, shrimp, mussels, and clams to the pot. Sprinkle the Old Bay seasoning and Cajun seasoning (if using) over the seafood.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour the garlic butter over the seafood boil in the pot.
  6. Cover the pot and let the seafood boil cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the clams and mussels have opened.
  7. Once everything is cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer the seafood boil to a large serving platter or spread it out on a newspaper-covered table.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
