  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch (23×23 cm) baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the onion is softened.
  4. Stir in the salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, sugar-free ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until well combined.
  5. Transfer the beef mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the beef mixture, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
  8. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the beef, bacon, and cheese in the baking dish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  11. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
