Cheesy Texas Toast

  • 1 loaf of Texas Toast (you can find this pre-sliced at most grocery stores)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Arrange the slices of Texas Toast on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  4. Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture onto each slice of Texas Toast.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the buttered slices of bread.
  6. If desired, sprinkle dried parsley, salt, and pepper over the cheese-topped bread for added flavor.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
  8. Once done, remove the Cheesy Texas Toast from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm as a delicious side dish or snack.
