Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta:

  • 8 oz (225g) linguine or your favorite pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, sliced into thin strips
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until they’re browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour in the heavy cream. Let it simmer gently for about 2 minutes.
  6. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce, along with the cooked chicken strips. Toss everything together until the pasta and chicken are evenly coated with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add some of the reserved pasta water to thin it out.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  9. Serve the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and extra grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Enjoy your delicious Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta!
